A note for November from Hiltingbury Interiors

Hello,

As we approach the festive season, I find myself reflecting on what a wonderful year it's been for our design community. The studio has been buzzing with creativity, and we've had the privilege of working on some truly inspiring projects with wonderful clients. There's so much to share with you this month!

Festive drinks at the Studio

First, we'd love you to join us for a celebratory glass of bubbles and a mince pie on Thursday 12th December, 6-8pm. We'll have our edited collection of gifts for those who'd like to do a little bit of shopping, and of course we'll be on hand for any last minute Christmas decor advice!

Please RSVP to this email so we can ensure everyone's catered for. We're looking forward to raising a glass with you!

Location: Hiltingbury Interiors Studio, 48 Hiltingbury Road, Chandlers Ford, SO53 5SS

Caroline will also be open until 8pm next door at CB Boutique.

Introducing Westlands Farm Shop

We're bursting with pride to announce our latest commercial project – the transformation of a historic Winchester building into the new home of Westlands Farm Shop. This project has been close to our hearts, combining our passion for design with the Collett family's dedication to bringing quality local produce to the heart of the city.

This unique project presented some exciting challenges, particularly with the listed building's distinct layout across four levels. Our design team, Ali and Rebecca, crafted an innovative floor plan that maximises both space and sales potential, while preserving the building's historic character.

The interior design focuses on bringing the farm experience to the city. Working alongside talented graphic designer Andrew Howell, we've created an immersive environment that tells the story from field to plate, showcasing the Collett family's dedication to quality local produce.

The Westlands team worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to strip out, decorate, lay over 1500 tiles, build fixtures, stock the shelves and recruit and train 8 new members of staff. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the team again and we couldn't be prouder of the results. The Mayor's presence at the ribbon-cutting ceremony was the perfect endorsement of this exciting addition to Winchester's High Street.

Colour Friday

While Black Friday creates a frenzy of often-regretted purchases (with 98% of "deals" not even being the year's best prices!), we're proud to champion something more meaningful. Colour Friday celebrates the vibrant independent businesses that make our Hampshire communities unique. Small businesses contribute to our local economy and more importantly, they're run by your neighbours, friends, and local families who pour their hearts into creating exceptional products and experiences.

When you shop locally, you're not just making a purchase - you're investing in expert advice from passionate professionals, discovering unique treasures you won't find online, and helping maintain the character of our beloved Hampshire high streets.

This Colour Friday, join us in supporting the independent shops, artisans, and family businesses that bring true colour to our community. Every purchase tells a story, every interaction builds a relationship, and every pound spent locally helps create the vibrant town centres we all want to be part of.

Together, let's create a more colourful future for our local high streets.

We'll be taking our Christmas break from midday on Friday 20th December, re-opening again on Monday 6th January.

Don't forget to visit Westlands Farm Shop in Winchester for all your Christmas essentials! From fresh local produce to thoughtful gifts, they've got everything you need for the festive season.

With love
